This is the beginning of a series depicting man vs. nature, the continuous struggle that has been the subject of stories, worship, industrial progresses...
it seems to have been humanities desire to conquer and command nature rather than working with and within the delicate system that already exists.
I believe this is changing, and has been for many years as humanity becomes increasingly aware of the environmental and biological impact our actions have taken. We can see the change in the push for "green" design and other developing technologies and beliefs.

this series is about to be made into an accordion-style fold-out book. it's about knowing where your home is, not necessarily your physical home. It's about that moment when nothing makes sense and you lose your ground. it's about shifting, unexpectedly.

this is the Wild Horse, also called "Equus Ferus." Extinct in the wild predominantly due to habitat loss and shooting to keep the horses from breeding with tamed mares.

This is a series of 4 monotype & photo silkscreens printed in 2002 entitled "Chicago Protest" depicting the 2000 protest against standardized testing in the Chicago Public schools led by the Organized Students of Chicago . Two of the four recently sold for $500.
