homemade clay!
i used the recipe from this blog
baking soda, corn starch, & water
it works beautifully for sculpture and dries overnight when not covered with a damp cloth.
Experiment #2 will be to use it to make a mold. fingers crossed.

CPS closings...
There were far too many amazing signs to document them all & many sincerely dedicated people.
The Chicago Public School closings are a disgrace as many of the schools being closed are good schools.
Something needs to happen but this doesn't seem to be the right answer.
The protest was held on 2013.03.27
there has been some action taken since then but little change or constructive decision making.
